The Opportunity

Our clients are seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technicians to support operations across Grande Prairie and Peace River in both shop and field environments.

This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive wages, overtime, and strong long-term career potential within industrial and resource-based operations.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, and support equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements
Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues
Interpret schematics and technical documentation
Maintain safety standards and accurate service records

Qualifications

Journeyperson certification OR registered Apprentice (Year 1–4)
Experience working in industrial, construction, forestry, or oil & gas environments
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently in remote or field environments
Ability to meet pre-employment requirements

Compensation & Benefits

Wage: $30.00 – $55.00 per hour
Overtime Pay (1.5x and 2.0x where applicable)
Full-time employment with stability
